Participant Profile & Eligibility
Our participants -- who come from around the English speaking world as well as from Europe -- generally fall into one of two categories:
- Those who would like a true-to-life immersion experience in Israel
- Those who are considering living in Israel
Each individual enriches the program with his or her own history, lifestyle, outlook, education and personality. True to "real life" in Israel, RLI is made up of men and women from all backgrounds and affiliations -- Ashkenazi and Sephardi; secular, traditional and/or religious -- who share a love for, and a desire to experience life in, Israel.

Program Eligiblity Requirements
- Jewish
- 20-30 years old
- College graduates preferred
Basic Eligibility for MASA Grants
To be eligible to receive a grant of $3000 you must....
To be eligible to receive a grant of $3000 you must....
- Be Jewish
- Be between ages 18-30
- Not be an Israeli citizen OR if you are, you must have left Israel before the age of 14
- Not have not been on an organized long-term program in Israel since September 2004
